Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 15, 2026 Last updated: September 15, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Finance Mastery LLC ("Finance Mastery," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you visit mastery.finance, use our funding assessment at s.mastery.finance, book an appointment with us, or otherwise communicate with us (together, the "Services").
Finance Mastery is a business funding strategy and consulting company. We are not a bank, lender, credit issuer, credit reporting agency, or credit repair organization. We do not lend money and we do not make credit decisions.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to information we collect through the Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, lenders, issuers or platforms you may visit or apply to, including any lender or issuer to whom you submit an application. Those parties have their own privacy practices and we encourage you to read them.
3. Information we collect
a. Information you give us directly. Most of what we hold, you type into our funding assessment or tell us on a call:
- Identity and contact information — your name, email address, and telephone number, including a mobile number if you provide one.
- Business information — your business or entity name, business age and structure, industry, revenue range, banking activity, and existing business obligations.
- Funding objectives — the amount of capital you are seeking, your intended use of funds, and your timing.
- Credit-profile information you supply — self-reported information about your credit position, such as your credit score range, utilization, credit age and depth, comparable account limits, recent accounts and inquiries, derogatory items, and available liquidity. You supply this information to us. We do not pull your consumer credit report as part of the assessment.
- Appointment information — the time you select, time zone, and any notes or context you add when booking, plus attendance information such as whether an appointment was kept, rescheduled or missed.
- Communications — the content of emails, text messages, form submissions and other messages you send us, and our replies. With your prior permission, we record strategy calls for accurate service documentation and quality review. If you decline recording, the conversation can proceed without recording. We use Google Meet or Zoom recording and Fireflies.ai for permitted call documentation. Transcription is disclosed and requires permission before it begins.
b. Information collected automatically. When you use the Services we and our providers may collect device and usage information, including IP address, browser type and settings, operating system, referring page, the pages and links you interact with, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP address.
c. Attribution information. If you reach us from an advertisement, email or link, we may receive campaign and attribution parameters (such as UTM values and advertising click identifiers) indicating which source brought you to us.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and the Services are intended for business owners.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Evaluate the credit and business profile you submit and produce a preliminary assessment of which capital routes it may support;
- Route your submission to the appropriate next step and, where applicable, schedule and conduct a funding strategy review;
- Communicate with you about your assessment, your appointment, and your enquiry — by email, telephone and, where you have given the relevant consent, text message;
- Provide, and where you become a client, deliver our services, including strategy and execution support;
- Operate, secure, maintain and improve the Services and our internal processes;
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand how people find and use the Services;
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
- Prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of the Services.
We rely on your consent for marketing communications, on the performance of our agreement with you for service delivery, and on our legitimate business interests for the operation, security and improvement of the Services, where those bases apply to you.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. With vendors who perform services for us and process information on our behalf under contract — for example our customer relationship and marketing platform, telephony and messaging provider, email delivery provider, scheduling tools, website hosting, analytics, and call recording/transcription tools. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us. Known tools include GoHighLevel/LeadConnector, Google, Zoom, Fireflies.ai, and Meta for advertising measurement. We do not currently use a payment processor.
- At your direction. Where you ask us to, or where you authorise us to assist with a specific application, information you provide may be used in preparing or submitting that application to the financial institution you select. We do not submit applications on your behalf without your instruction. Clients physically submit their own applications to the financial institutions.
- Professional advisers. With our lawyers, accountants and insurers where reasonably necessary.
- Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to govern the information transferred.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
6. Cookies, tracking and analytics
We and our providers use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and understand the performance of our advertising. Configured V1 tracking includes GoHighLevel attribution and server-side Meta Conversions API; no browser SubmitApplication counterpart is configured.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Some parts of the Services may not function properly if you do. We do not treat the older browser "Do Not Track" signal as a universal automatic opt-out. Where applicable law requires it, we honor valid Global Privacy Control signals as requests to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising within the scope of that signal. You may also contact [email protected] to exercise applicable privacy choices.
7. Email and telephone communications
If you provide your email address, we may email you about your assessment, your appointment and your enquiry. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by contacting us. You may continue to receive non-marketing messages relating to an appointment you have booked or a service you have requested.
If you provide your telephone number, we may call you about your enquiry and your appointment.
8. Text messages (SMS)
If you provide a mobile telephone number and give the relevant consent, we may send you text messages. Our messaging program, the types of messages we send, frequency, rates, and how to stop or get help are described in our Terms & Conditions at https://mastery.finance/terms.
You give consent for transactional and service messages separately from consent for marketing messages, and neither is pre-selected. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services to us, such as customer service, messaging delivery and platform providers, is permitted solely so that we can deliver the messages you have asked for. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties for any other purpose.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. You can request help by replying HELP or by contacting us using the details in §12.
9. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, and then for as long as required to comply with our legal, tax, accounting and recordkeeping obligations or to resolve disputes.
Our standard retention schedule is:
- Non-client assessment and enquiry records: 24 months after the last substantive interaction.
- Client agreements, service documentation and transaction records: seven years after the engagement ends. This is not a requirement to keep every raw credit report for seven years.
- Call recordings and any permitted transcripts: 12 months after the call.
- SMS consent evidence and associated messaging records needed to establish consent: five years after the last message or withdrawal of consent, whichever is later. Retaining consent evidence does not authorize further messages after an opt-out.
- Minimal suppression information may be retained longer where necessary to honor an opt-out.
We retain information longer where required by law or necessary for a specific dispute, legal hold or continuing service obligation. We securely delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transmission, access controls limiting who within our organisation can view submissions, and vendor agreements requiring appropriate protection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send full account numbers, government identification numbers, or passwords to us by email or text message. We will not ask you for them that way.
11. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction or deletion of it, to request a copy in a portable form, to opt out of certain processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Residents of California, and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, may have additional rights, including the right to know the categories of personal information collected and disclosed, the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. As stated in §5, we do not sell personal information.
To exercise a right, contact us using the details in §12. We will verify your request before acting on it and will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may use an authorised agent where the law allows.
Requests may be submitted to [email protected] or 407-603-6338. For access, correction or deletion requests, we verify identity through contact information already associated with your record and, where reasonably necessary, additional proportionate verification. We do not require you to email a full Social Security number or a complete credit report. We acknowledge these requests within ten business days and respond within 45 calendar days, or sooner where applicable law requires. If a lawful extension is needed, we explain the reason and revised deadline. Opt-out requests are handled as soon as feasible within applicable legal deadlines, and do not require unnecessary identity verification.
